Tiburon Possibly Marin County s smartest community, it stands as a less hectic alternative sticky wisdom to Sausalito for its views and restaurants. Every two blocks or so all around the city, except in the most exclusive neighborhoods, there are corner stores that sell a little bit of everything some fresh produce, maybe some deli items, a few pharmaceuticals, toiletry necessities, and general groceries. Just be aware that you pay as much as 50 percent more for everything you buy here.
In 1969 Richard Oakes and 90 Native Americans landed on Alcatraz, set up camp, and demanded the government sell them the island sticky wisdom for $24 worth of beads and red cloth.
